Moving In Complete!

Gwinnett moved the last of its gear from the airport authority building, where we've been meeting for the past sixteen years.  Our new home is massive and well appointed.  There is a great deal of pride and joy now that the arduous labor of construction is complete--Lt Col Hargrove's dream has finally been realized!

The Ford Quad Cab ground search and rescue vehicle sits in the hangar's garage area.
Affectionately known as the "iron pig", the vehicle is used to carry ground team
members to crash sites once they've been located by the airborne search and rescue
element.

The main hallway.  On the right are doors
to the offices.  The unbroken wall on the
left is the outside of the classroom.

This is the main lobby area.  It is equipped
with restrooms, a sink, and a kitchenette.

The supply area is well equipped with uniforms
and other supplies.

Outside, you can see the airplane turn-around
area on the left. The mighty hangar dwarfs
personal vehicles parked in front.
